The best part about being apart of the program was playing for my hometown. Not only playing for my hometown but playing with the people I grew up around and go to school with. Our chemistry was amazing and we ALWAYS had a good time. Our unique experience of having a trailer as a locker-room just added to our adventures of the season. The support from our town was unreal and I could not have asked for anything better my senior hockey season.

What I miss the most is my teammates. Each day I looked forward to going to hockey, not only because the practices were fun and I loved the game, but because the people I was surrounded by made it such a better experience. Trailer park girls for life!!! I still get to continue my hockey career which makes it easier to let the hockey aspect go, but my friends will forever be missed.

What makes our hockey family unique is definitely the fact that this is a new program and we are figuring things out as it goes. The trailer was very unique also, I don't think any other team had one! Also our drive and competitiveness is what separated us from other hockey teams. Although last year was our first season, our chemistry was there.

My advice to the seniors is obviously pretty cliche but seriously LIVE IT UP!! Be a good example to the younger kids and never forget to have fun. Listen to your coaches and respect your teammates because it will take you far. Work hard each and everyday and if you have a bad game or shift, shake it off and go out and work harder the next time.

My advice to the 8th graders as they enter their first year is I AM JEALOUS!! You have 5 years to play for this amazing program, it may suck starting at the bottom of the chain but keep working hard because your time to shine will come. Be supportive and go to practice, u12s may have been optional but high school is not!!! Playing time is not given, it is earned, so if you work harder than everyone else the coaches will notice. Enjoy these next few years because they're gunna be soooo fun!!!

Love you guys,
